Common Questions about Remote Support and Managed Services
Do I need to sign a contract to get remote support?
Absolutely! Before you hand over your keys to your network, you should not only sign, but insist upon a contract that outlines the agreed upon work to be performed, and the consequences of failure. Our managed services contract is utilized to protect both parties, and you should never allow anyone access to your network without understanding exactly what they are going to do with it.
What does your remote support include? What does it not include?
Our remote support includes monitoring of over 30,000 alerts, problems, and performance measures. As a result, it would be very time consuming to list all of them here. Additionally, it includes patch management, antivirus and anti-malware scheduling and maintenance, backup verification, online ticketing and help desk access. However, it does not include a business continuity or cloud-based backup solution unless otherwise agreed upon. We also offer many options for cloud-based backup that are tailored separately based upon the needs of your business and your budget.
I’m not currently a remote support client. Will you still support my issue?
Of course! But know, in advance, that we primarily focus on eliminating downtime. There are plenty of computer repairmen out there, and we are very capable of repairing your computers. However, if we see that repairing your computer is going to be more costly (including the downtime) than replacing it, we are going to recommend that you replace it.
How much does it cost to have you provide remote support to my business?
Because our pricing is based upon what needs you have, we would need to assess your network to answer this question. Due to the fact that we aren’t as expensive as hiring a full time IT employee, we are able to provide you with top notch service for a fraction of the cost. We have a best practices model in mind for how to secure your network. Contact us to schedule an appointment so we can help you focus on your customers.
